Digital Media Buyer

Optimal Fusion (www.OptimalFusion.com) is currently seeking a a Media Buyer for our Los Angeles office. This position will be responsible for promoting Optimal Fusion’s suite of online marketing platforms to prospective publisher’s including our native ad platform www.Fuze360.comOptimal Fusion is a leading integrated media company utilizing exclusive properties and platforms to link brands and consumers through targeted-high-impact marketing solutions. Pairing our proprietary content platform, our portfolio of internal properties and Native advertising platform with cutting edge technology, Optimal Fusion cultivates a brand-safe environment perfectly situated to target relevant consumers. Recently, Optimal Fusion has made a major push into mobile in-app advertising and is therefore looking for a candidate with a strong mobile background to help lead this growth.

 

Job Description: As a Media Buyer/ Affiliate Manager you will be tasked with procuring new publishers ensuring successful achievement of revenue goals, building publisher relationships, and generally representing Optimal Fusion in the online marketplace. You will be primarily purchasing advertising inventory on third-party sites/portals/social/email by marketing Fuze360′s unique publisher monetization platform which includes display, video, mobile, content, and data formats. Fuze360 is a simple piece of JavaScript code which allows publishers, bloggers, to monetize their traffic with exciting new formats including instream and outstream video, display, in-app, in-page lead generation, data, and influencer/sponsored content campaigns all wrapped into one.

 

Responsibilities: Execute strategy that results in revenue growth with publishers while following our corporate sales strategies and goals. Exceed personal and media team quarterly revenue goals. Oversee current affiliate sites while breaking new key publishers and bloggers. Successful candidates will be aggressive self-starters, exhibit confidence, and possess a broad understanding of the online advertising world. Successful candidates should have a deep understanding of direct response, branding, and cost-per-acquisition marketing, as well as the overall digital delivery process. We are specifically looking for candidates with mobile experience and contacts as we are growing aggressively in this vertical. Successful candidates must have a strong book of publishers and relationships. Relationships with mobile publishers is a major plus, as are publishers accepting of native advertising.

 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. At least 1year of online media buying experience meeting and exceeding revenue goals. Experience working for a major platform, portal, or ad network, as well as a strong book of business and established relationships. Experience and a strong background buying mobile web, and in-app traffic is a MUST.
